    Job Function
    The sales team is responsible for growing our business by keeping in touch with our current customers and getting in touch with new ones to understand their needs and share how Globibo can make a difference to them. As a Sales & Business Development Intern, reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll be in contact with existing and potential clients and assist in marketing campaigns. You’ll become familiar with how to prepare quotations and communicate with the delivery team to ensure the smooth and timely execution of projects.

    Strategic Business Development & Marketing - 40%
    • Identify and make new contacts within existing Singapore-based key clients
    • Collaborate with our strategic accounts colleagues to develop and refine outreach strategies, tactics, and pitches
    • Carry out market research on new industries, markets & segments
    • Drive marketing campaigns, newsletters & round robins
    • Revamp marketing collateral & content
    • Gather feedback from clients

    Sales Support Operations - 40%
    • Contact potential clients via cold calling & emails
    • Meet potential clients, prepare specific presentation material; opportunity management
    • Respond to & convert inbound enquiries via various channels
    • Prepare quotations and communicate timelines & requirements with the delivery team

    Event Support - 20%
    • Project planning & execution

    What we expect from you
    You are an extroverted, self- confident individual who does not shy from speaking with strangers and turning them into friends. Ideally, you are passionate in language learning or event technology.

    1. The ability to think out of the box & a sense of wit
    2. Excellent communication skills
    3. Fluency in English and at least one other local/regional language
    4. Able to commit at least 4-5 months, ideally full-time
    5. Prior experience in the service line and/or interacting with clients and customers in a part-time/internship role would be a plus
