My experience in the publishing industry spans to over five years, having specialized in the creative aspect of magazine production and over twelve years in graphic design as a whole. On the technical side, my skills include a high proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Freehand, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. I also have extensive experience working with different service bureaus and a wide knowledge of current pre-press techniques and printing technologies. I am capable of working independently as well as with a team. The last position I held had me working with a great group of people—men and women eager to learn the craft and committed to the job—even if it meant sleepless nights just to beat the deadline. Working with them, I have learned to not only function well as part of a team of various personalities and quirks but I have also learned to manage and maximize each of their individual potential as we worked to the realization of a specified assignment.
