I am a freelance translator and interpreter (Italian mother tongue) with an excellent command of English, very good command of German, a basic knowledge of Spanish and currently learning Chinese. I am currently living in Heidelberg (Germany) and working (until the end of July 2008) as a Buying Consultant - Communication Specialist / Change Management - for a short-term project at SAP AG, Walldorf, Germany. In the last 7 years I had the chance to live and work in the UK , Italy and Germany . During my work experience in London as press officer and event organizer I was in charge of the interpreting service, overall coordination of the logistic support for Formula 1 teams (Ferrari and Renault) and private guests for the Grand Prixs of San Marino, Monza, Monaco, Nuerburgring, Silverstone, Barcelona and Shangai. During my seven years' professional translation experience I have been responsible for translating from English and German into Italian and viceversa, negotiation and consecutive interpreting for trade fairs and congresses, medical conferences, business trips and meetings. I have worked for a German multinational corporation as in-house translator, event coordinator and responsible for the in-company English and German language courses. I would like to operate in a dynamic and stimulating work environment, which enables me to travel, speak different languages and interact with customers. Marketing and Event management / interpreting is an area of work that I enjoy and would like to learn more about. I would love to gain an international work experience abroad, therefore I am willing to move anywhere in the world. My dream job would be abroad in Asia, region of interest would be a great asset for pursuing my career goals. I am hard-working, stress-resistant, reliable and highly organized person and possess excellent translation, communication and organizational skills, the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and to complete complex tasks under pressure.
