• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related discipline
• 5-7 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of the application of protection relays in electrical networks and state-of-the-- art technologies in substation automation
• Good oral / written communication
• An appreciation of cubicle / rack construction
• Ability to read / interpret tender / contract documentation, schematics, procedures and policy guidelines
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to define problems collects relevant data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and to meet strict deadlines, whilst working in a team
• Knowledge of competitor products is advantageous
• Have a working knowledge of commercial, contractual conditions, ideally in electrical power system or associate industries
• Experience of managing projects for protection and control systems is a distinct advantage
• Business understanding
