Our client is a leading gas and chemical solution provider, with the largest network of air separation plants, gas production facilities and a growing distribution system in almost every sector in the industry. Their head office in JURONG INDUSTRIAL AREA currently has an opening for the position of Project Engineer (Piping).
Gross Salary: up to $4200
Work Location: Jurong Industrial Area
Work Days: 5 days
Work Terms: Permanent position
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for new gas pipeline design, development, construction and quality assurance work to ensure successful completion of projects in the refinery, petrochemical and process related industries
• Liaise with contractors, regulatory authorities, vendors, customers, internal marketing staff and land owners for the smooth execution of work
• Maintain good relationship with customers by providing reliable support on site to ensure zero customers’ complaints
• Able to provide 24/7 emergency response to customers to resolve technical faults and carry out root cause analysis to prevent re-occurrence
Requirements
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Civil/Chemical or related Engineering field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in site project engineering or construction execution
• Able to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and customer relationship management
• Good communication skills and hands-on approach to tackle multiple daily issues
• Conversant with English & Mandarin (as need to liaise with China counterparts)
• Singaporeans & PRs only
