Requirements:

*Completed a lifting supervisor training course approved by Commissioner of Workplace Safety & Health Division
*At least 3 years of experience in related field.
*Singaporean, Permanent resident and foreigners are welcome to apply.
*Good verbal and written of Chinese language and English
*Salary will be based on experience.

Responsibilities

*Supervise and co-ordinate all crane operators, riggers and signalman for all lifting activities.
*Ensure crane operators are registered, appointed riggers and signalman are trained in lifting operation
*Check the load and riggings to ensure that the load can be lifted and removed safely by the crane.
*Ensure that the ground conditions are safe for the lifting operations to be performed by crane.
*Ensure that lifting activities are carried out in accordance with safe and sound practices.
*Ensure a system of safe lifting procedure is available for any lifting operation during his absence
*Take all necessary measures to rectify any unsatisfactory or unsafe conditions reported to him by the crane operator/ site supervisor.
*Conduct briefing on the Risk Assessment & Safe Work Procedures to the signalmen, riggers and crane operators, including any helpers/assistants.
*Verify that the pre-operation checks have been carried by the crane operator and riggers for the crane and lifting gears respectively.
*Be properly attired with red reflective vest and blue safety helmet for easy identification
*Perform the role of EHS Assessor for the inspection/ assessment of Permit-to-work system
*Comply and be accountable to in-house EHS rules and regulations.
*Comply and be accountable to the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
