Responsibilities:
Prepare master schedules for construction and engineering projects including identification of critical path networks, logic linked etc.
Monitor and report progress performance for multiple contractors on construction and engineering projects.
Execute additional project controls engineering functions such as analyzing cost variances, developing cost and work-hour trends and forecasts, reviewing change order requests and analyzing contractors extension of time claims.
Some cost control may also be required.
Requirements:
A recognized Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Building or similar related to construction industry.
Full knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques, such as work breakdown structure, working methodologies and resources management.
Must be able to communicate both verbally and through writing with the client, the engineers, the construction team and the contractors.
Computer proficiency is required, be familiar with Primavera P-5 or P-6, MS Project, etc.
At least 5 years of experience on project planning / scheduling in construction industry.
Communicate effectively with good skills in English.
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and work in a fast pace environment.
