Position: System Engineer (Data Centre)
Specialization: 2nd Level DC Service Engineering.
Job Description:
2nd level Maintenance of existing DC.
Project Management in deployment of new DC services.
Scope of Work:
Provide service delivery support (DC focus) for customer DC projects
Manage customer project implementation and maintenance including vendors control and customers expectation
Support business development team in DC e.g., Facilitate customer visits
Prepare project documents i.e. detailed Dc design, project implementation schedule etc.
Manage operations resources for 7x24 response and maintenance activities
Support in the area of Datacenter controls, policies, procedures, structures and etc.
Overall responsibility for the coordination of DC access, power-downs, maintenance works, expansions, relocations, documentation.
Provide an efficient and effective fault resolution service and first/second line Data Centre support service to the company escalating upward, when appropriate, to ensure management and resolution of all faults in the Data Centre environment
Necessary Skills:
Diploma in Computer Science, Telecommunication or IT related field.
Working experience in Data Centre environment or in customers' dealings is preferred. Incumbent should posses good communication skills, project
Possess good communication skills, project management skills and have a proactive and positive attitude in order to be effective on the job.
Possess good interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with different groups of people with diverse backgrounds.
Have enthusiasm and energy to continuously look for new initiatives and ways to improve operations' efficiencies and services to customers.
Have customer oriented views.
Strong analytical skill for troubleshooting of faults reported by customers.
Preferable to have Network and Server knowledge (CCNA, MSC, Possess good interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with
