POSITION : NETWORK ENGINEER
Job Description:
You will be responsible in providing, managing customer project implementation including vendor control and customers expectation. Perform hands-on field installation work and provides 2nd level support to on-site system engineer.
Requirements:
Degree / Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years hands-on networking experience, preferably in network service provider environment.
Experience in design and provisioning of Global network services (MPLS and IPLC)
Relevant technical certificates preferred
Necessary Skills:
Hands-on skills in configuring Cisco routers on basic service such as, NAT, Bandwidth management (bandwidth policies) and routing like BGP, OSPF, etc
Hands-on skills in setting up and troubleshooting Win2k/Unix servers
Good knowledge of email services e.g. Lotus Domino, MS Exchange, Sendmail, postfix, etc
Good Project management skills in networking and Systems
Good understanding of Telecommunications infrastructure
Administration experienced in LAN/WAN technologies
Knowledge in security solution like Firewall, IPS/IDS and Anitivirus, Proxy etc is preferred
Preferred with knowledge in Voice system (VoIP, PABX)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Sound analytical and problem solving skills
Relevant technical certification preferred.
