Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare and check all shipping documents to ensure that are complete and comply with export rules and regulations.
• Book cargo space and place insurance for shipments in accordance with established company guidelines.
• Liaise with port of authorities, customs officers, transport contractors, suppliers and customers to ensure timely clearance and delivery of shipments.
• Attend to queries relating to shipping documents, e.g. from Customs and Trade Department on declared value of shipments.
• Arrange for the sampling or testing of goods by government authorities and other organization, like SGS inspection.
• Check L/C validity and ensure L/C compliance with work order and proforma invoice.
• L/C / Bank documentation negotiation
• Prepare and submit sales reports, monthly progress reports and etc to superior.
• Attend to adhoc tasks assigned by immediate superiors.
Requirements
• Experience in Freight forwarding is a must
• Familiar with DG documentation will be a plus
• Knowledge in LC / Bank Negotiation
• Well verse in International shipping documentation
• Able to work under pressure with deadline
• Well versed in Microsoft Office
• Pleasant Personality
• Able to start work immediately
