Hands-on SAP Basis Team Lead sought for my client a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. Managing a team of basis administrators/developers, you will be responsible for delivery and support activities of all their SAP Basis systems which sit on a Oracle database,
Your duties will include:
-Managing a team of SAP Basis Consultant.
-Allocation and management of team workloads.
-Hands on technical administration.
-Mentoring / coaching / performance management of team members.
Skills/Experience:
-4+ years proven hands-on experience in SAP Basis.
-Oracle DB exposure.
-Security/Authorisations.
-Previous experience in a Team Lead/Supervisory role.
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Experience Required
Involved in the full lifecycle of a large project and be able to articulate the phases, deliverables, risks, etc.
SAP implementation experience a strong asset.
Cognos report writing skills a strong asset.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering and/or Mathematics
2 - 3 years of experience with Java-based technologies: J2SE, J2EE, JSP, JDBC
1-2 years of experience with database technologies: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2
1-2 years of experience with application servers: BEA Weblogic, Oracle AS, IBM WebSphere - preferred certification
Working knowledge of following: - Unix or OS390, one of the database platforms (Oracle, Informix, SQL Server, DB2 or Sybase); Tools: (SQL, Microsoft Project); OS and environments: Windows ( 2000,98,95,NT…), Unix, MS-Dos., Web servers (tuxedo, iis, apache).
Experience with client-based enterprise implementations and n-tier web application architecture.
