Project Engineer - electrical - UK
Our client currently serves over a million customers with an average water supply of 300 million litres a day.
Due to the continued growth and success of their business they are currently looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to manage the design and installation of Pumping Station, Treatment Works, Instrumentation, Control and Automation systems for water treatment plants. You will be responsible for the design of new ICA systems to enable water process treatment processes to operate effectively, the specification and design of plant electrical systems, including motor control centres, switchboards and cabling systems. You will be required to provide an efficient technical support service to various departments on electrical and ICA matters and managing projects ensuring they meet company specifications and are within agreed budgets.
To be successful in this role you must have experience of managing engineering projects and knowledge in the design and specification of Electrical and ICA systems in the process industry. A highly organised and self-motivated individual you will work well in a pressurised environment. Ideally applicants will be educated to degree level or equivalent in electrical/ electronic engineering or computer science
