Responsibilities:
* Responsible for detail engineering issues of piping and pipe supporting within the project
* Review session, controlling of pipe and pipe support design
* Check and approve isometric drawing and pipe support construction
* Track progress of lines and pipe supports
* Track progress of lines with stress calculation
* Track all incoming issues, prepare issues to other discipline
* Evaluate scope changes (reasons and schedule)
* Expedite all critical items (special parts, PCT items) within and outside of the Team
* Check core of complete attributes of pipes, supports, special parts, valves and PCT-items
* Check and approve design condition
* Check and approve stress calculation
Requirements:
* Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
* 5 - 7 years of relevant working experience in piping disciplines
* Interdisciplinary experience with engineering contractor is mandatory
* Former involvement in world-scale projects is highly preferred, especially in construction a new production plant
* Good knowledge of engineering software and piping standards, codes and regulations
* A team player with excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
* Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment |
