Job description:
"Develops, coordinates, analyzes, reviews and/or verifies component design and hydrostatic/ hydrodynamic activities for both operational and installation modes
Verifies the compatibility of hydrostatic/ hydrodynamic design loads with other interfacing disciplines
Provides support for design, analysis and monitoring of the hull structure system
Performs scantling analysis, review of the drawings, strength analysis, fatigue analysis and FES (Finite Element Analysis) for local structures using current version of StruCAD*3D
Monitors and controls the weight of F(P)SO or TLP; calculates CG locations and radius of gyrations
Develops, analyzes, coordinates, reviews and evaluates plans for tow-out and installation of project components and associated equipment
Develops, analyzes, coordinates, reviews and evaluates plans for tow-out and installation of project components and associated equipment
Develops, tests and implements program interfaces
Review and comments on equipment dossiers as they relate to tow-out, installation and overall vessel motions and load response
Performs model testing activities for project components including preparation of test specification, evaluation of test facility proposals and recommendation of contract award
Serves as company representative during testing program, evaluates test results and reconciles data with hydrodynamic analysis
Interfaces with drafters/designers to implement design and construction drawings"
Requirements:
"Degree in Naval Architecture
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Shipyard or FPSO Industry"
