Job Description:
*You will provide leadership in the management and operation of the Adventure Sports Centre (ASC) which offers a range of best-in-class sport climbing & mountaineering facilities, adventure activities, corporate training programmes and venues for social/corporate functions.
*You will lead a team of professional trainers to deliver the promise of the ASC and to reach out widely to the club members, corporations, schools and other organisations.
*Executing training programmes and adventure skills of high standards are among your key focus, as well as ensuring a safe environment and smooth daily operations of the centre.
*You are also responsible for the financial performance of the ASC.
Requirements:
Degree, preferably in Business Administration/Management or Marketing
Recognised qualifications in education and/or corporate training preferred
At least 5 years relevant experience in an adventure-related and/or training-related industry, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity, preferably with a good working knowledge of financial and sales/marketing management
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Experience in sport climbing/route setting, conducting leadership / team building courses and adventure-related skills are an advantage
