JOB PURPOSE
For global spend of Professional Services (management consultants, legal services, auditors, etc), HR, Travel, Hotels & Marketing categories.
• Develop global sourcing strategies by collaborating across the group
• Drive sourcing initiatives to achieve stakeholders objectives effectively
• Provide end-to-end procurement services in line with standard procurement process.
• Achieve reductions in third party spend and deliver value improvements on country, regional and global basis
• Effective establishment and management of supplier relationships to maximise leverage of supplier value
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform supplier/spend categorization and analysis to enable meaningful reporting
• Define business needs of 3rd party products & services by working with business stakeholders
• Develop sourcing strategy for 3rd party products and services to meet the business needs
• Manage the procurement process from strategy execution through to supplier management to effectively manage the three core elements of cost, service & risk
• Provide supplier market intelligence to business as a part of strategy communication
• Report and track progress of initiatives and savings results against goals
• Enable suppliers & drive transactions through e-procurement solution (where e-Procurement system is used)
SKILLS
• Strong procurement background in HR related services, Professional Services, and/or Travel field.
• Effective commercial/contractual skills
• Influencing skills
• Ability to work in a stressful commercial environment to tight schedules
• Ability to handle uncertainty, fragmented data
• Delivery focus with project management skills
