--Provide L1 and L2 application production support.
--Translate business requirements into system requirements, create software architecture and design and evaluate technologies to use.
--Design and develop applications to meet a set of system requirements, from the user interface to the backend logic and integration with DB2 functions.
--Provide technical support for existing applications.
--Perform code promotion between development and test environment, maintain testing environment.
--Execute tasks relating to Build/Packaging and must be able to install, service, and maintain a driver for development, test or service and understand packaging issues. Shall also responsible to create/install code.
--Should have creative problem solving and strong communication skills (verbal and written) .
--Ability to work independently and as a team player.
--Should be able to communicate directly with the end users and manage the expectations.
--Pleasant personality and positive attitude.
--At least 3+ years of relevant work experience in developing WebSphere, WebSphere Portal, Web Services, Java and J2EE applications.
--Expert skills in J2EE development, WebSphere Portal Server and portlet development.
--Intermediate administration skills for WAS , WPS and DB2.
--Should have good knowledge about the following technologies:
