Interior Designer
Responsible for complete creative content of all project phase documentation
Phase I Concept
- conduct site visit, take site measures and orientation
- shape the Clients’ vision for the project in conjunction with the partners and fellow team members
- execute original design (sketches, design intent, concept) and lead creative content of initial concept presentations
Phase II Design Development
- develop the design so as to fully integrate the creative and technical aspects of the project
- proactively solicit feedback from the project consultants based on preliminary design intent
- select all materials, finishes, furniture, fittings and equipment
- ensure continuous dialogue with project consultants to solidify all design coordination issues
- ensure design checklist has been accomplished and all information is made available to CADD Designer
Phase III Construction Documentation
- generate design content of construction documents
- effectively communicate with CADD Designers to facilitate integrated and seamless transfer of information
- finalize and review documentation of all types of specifications
- review CADD drawings for accuracy of design content
- coordinate final design with project consultant team
- facilitate final design review and sign-off with the partner & client
Phase IV Installation
- review shop drawings
- attend to site review / factory inspections
- provide design clarification as required
- participate in final walk-troughs’ and prepare defect lists
General
- participate and/or lead presentations to client to obtain design approval
- liaise with client and consultants on design related issues throughout the project
- prepare project meeting minutes when required
- maintain your project correspondence
