RF IC Design Staff Engineer/ Member of Technical Staff
Job Responsibilities:
• Design analog/ RF circuit building blocks for wireless SoC solutions
• Develop advanced wireless system and high performance RF transceiver circuits
• Resolve complex technical issues on system (e.g. RF/ analog/ digital) and product level
• Interact with RF team of different sites
• Coach and lead team members
Requirements:
• Bachelor/ Masters/ PhD Degree with major in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or
Telecommunication Engineering, particularly in the related fields of Analog or
RFIC designs
• Min 6 years experience in designing a wide range of circuit functions for RFIC, such as
° RF circuits - LNA, Mixer, Modulator, RF PGA, Power Amplifier, etc.
° Frequency synthesizer - Integer-N or Fractional-N PLL, PFD/ CP, VCO, Crystal
Oscillator, frequency/phase calibration algorithm, etc.
° Analog circuits - PGA, VGA, Filter techniques, ADC/ DAC, etc.
• Strong analytical skills in optimizing a particular Analog/ RFIC circuit topology to meet
its block level specifications
• Good understanding in deep sub-micron CMOS process technology and digital
signal processing
• Strong foundation in RF theory and circuit analysis
• Experience in designing digitally assisted RF systems or circuits
• Well versed in CAD design flow (eg. spectre, spectre-RF), System simulation tools
(eg. Matlab, ADS)
