Within a fast-paced environment you will support the IT department and the Traders in their day to day operations in relation to hardware issues. You will be the person who is up to date with all the latest technology and knows how to get it in creative ways.
Responsibilities include:
•First to second level IT support
•Assembling, Installation, repair and troubleshooting of PC s, Laptops.
•Configuration and troubleshooting of printers and other peripherals.
•Install, configure and maintain Operating Systems (Linux and Windows)
•Stay updated with the newest technologies available and when necessary you know how and where to find the best hardware / PC components (motherboard, memory cards, hard drives, etc)
•Support the IT team with any ad hoc activities
•Heavy lifting is required in this role.
Profile
•Preferably a diploma in IT / Computing from an institute of Technical Education or Polytechnic
•Experience (through work or hobbies) with IT Technology, especially with Linux systems
•Great interest in IT and everything that involves IT
•Experienced in the assembly, Installation and repair of PC s, Laptops, printers, etc.
•Able to work in a fast paced environment
•Communicative and outgoing personality
•Absolutely fluent in English
