- To manage relationships with key suppliers of the assigned products and/or services and negotiate global and local supply agreements
- To continually develop and implement supply chain strategies in order to exceed supply management business objectives relating to, but not restricted to cost, delivery performance and quality
- Manage supplier development process, from identification of secondary sources, through process capability audits and product qualification
- Lead quarterly business reviews with key suppliers, establishing performance metrics/reporting (cost, delivery, lead-time, quality) to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure new product introduction occurs in a timely manner and meets all business objectives through coordination with appropriate functions to ensure business, commercial and technology requirements are met or exceeded
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in strategic procurement with in an technology driven company, preferably within electronics or contract manufacturing
- Degree holder or candidates with the relevant work experience are welcome to apply.
- Willing to travel, regionally and globally
- Proficient PC Office Applications, familiar with systematic management tools (e.g. QFD)
