Responsibilities
Client Management Skills
• Develop the overall Client / Agency relationship
• Help proactively grow Client’s business with the agency through proposing & implementing agency services when beneficial
• Educate Client about web marketing and new web/internet developments that will have an impact on Client’s business on a regular basis (via presentations, emails, etc).
Understand agency service offerings
• Identify Client opportunities eg.cross-promotions, new services or campaigns.
• Collect and document successful agency Case Studies for credentials and new business pitches.
• Liaise with other departments on a regular basis to share client insights & information - constantly troubleshoot.
Understand Client business, industry and competitors and provision of strategic direction to the client
• Understand/contribute to Client’s overall Marketing Plan and Brand Strategy on the Web and off (Integration).
• Maintain extensive knowledge of Client’s business (products / services).
• Maintain familiarity with Client’s Web sites (internet, extranet, intranet) and off line advertising campaign.
Lead & Motivate
• Oversee the work and performance of direct reports
• Ensure handovers are completed in written form before any Client or Client Solutions team member takes leave or leaves the company. Clients are to be informed (in writing) in advance in terms of who will take over absent teams member’s responsibilities. Handover reports are to be made available to COO and other department heads.
Process Orientation
• Understand monthly Agency Service Agreements (retainer) and be able to determine what is billed under the agreement and what is billed as project work. Entering hours on a consistent and accurate basis.
• Lead all internal agency meetings such as WIP, Creative Reviews, New Project Briefs, Brainstorms, etc.
• Conduct client brand inductions with new agency staff and client’s clients.
• Ensure all creative work adheres to proper internal review procedures before being presented to Client.
• Ensure overall Quality Control (QC) issues before pushing a project live.
• Constantly make suggestions for improvement of processes.

Qualifications / Skills
Essential
• At least 5 to 8 years of Client Solutions in traditional advertising or similar discipline. A strong foundation in traditional marketing and a solid and continuously developing knowledge of the Internet and new media technology.
• Excellent writing, communication, and people management skills
• People Management experience
• Business Development experience
