Customer Contact Centre Officer
 

Responsibilities
• To administer supplier administration for an e-business portal
• To contact suppliers for required documentation to process applications, as and when required
• To provide consistent quality customer service by phone, email, fax or personal visits from users of an in-house developed e-business procurement portal.
• To enhance customer service experience through proactive management of customers’ enquiries and requests
• To ensure that procedures and processes are in compliance with stipulated guidelines
• To respond to customers' enquiries, complaints and suggestions in a professional and positive manner.
• To ensure that the Service Level Agreement is met.
• To monitor customer satisfaction
• To suggest improvements to the system
• To be proactive when troubleshooting and resolving users' concerns.
• To investigate and document the situation surrounding each case
• To escalate problems when necessary for higher level resolution
• To track the progress of each call assigned until closure
• To log the case details into the center’s Call Logging Software
• To be an expert of the business domain
• To contribute towards the objective of the e-business portal
• To adhere to the established service level agreements and operations manuals
• To perform other project related and ad-hoc activities as required by the authority.
Skills-sets and Experience
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and positive work attitude with good customer service skills.
• Obtained passes in at least 6 subjects during the GCE 'O' Levels Examinations.
• Demonstrated knowledge in Information Technology.
• Is able to listen attentively, paraphrase the user's concerns and type the details into the Call Logging Software at the same time.
• Possess at least1- 2 years of working experience in a technical contact centre environment.
• Possess working knowledge in the following areas: Trouble-shooting Network Connectivity Issues, Understanding of database concepts and SQL, Operating Systems (2000, XP), Internet Browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla), Microsoft Office, Procurement processes
