Operations Manager(based in Singapore).
Responsibilities:
•Responsible for operations of all Warehouse/Logistics function
•Develop and track warehousing and transportation budget and forecast
•Develop cost reduction strategies for logistics;coordinate and drive cost reduction activities
•Consolidate,analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements
•Maintain and control inventory level within plan
•Perform regular reporting and coordination with Headquarter in US
•Coordinate or solve all Access,software,systems,and networking short-term and long-term problems with the help of U.S. IT.
•Maintain Singapore’s servers, terminals,and networks including backups and a gatekeeper for all systems errors,bugs,and enhancements
Requirements:
•Degree in logistics-related studies with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with freight and warehouse management,of which at least 3 years of experience in managerial capacity
•An awareness of and strategic response to external influences,such as legislation,customs & taxes is vital
•Well versed in project management,planning,business and basic finance
•Strong team orientation with ability to work independently to identify and lead process improvement initiatives
•Experience in retail/FMCG product sector an added advantage
•Computer literate, must be proficient in Excel(esp. formula applications)and Word applications
•Familiar with VPN, Servers, switches,network administration a plus
•Experience in databases and JD Edwards a plus
•Excellent verbal,written and presentation skills will be vital

Working Hours: 8.30am to 6pm.
