Red Dawn Communications was founded in 2003 by Florence Ang as a PR and marketing communications consultancy to help brands, companies and organizations communicate effectively using multi-disciplinary programs to a range of different audiences. The agency handled PR for key regional pop-culture events including Games Convention Asia and Anime Festival Asia. Additionally, the agency also helps the entertainment industry communicate about itself in a variety of ways: from promoting movies, gaming and music events, to product placement in films and television shows, sponsorship endorsements for high profile entertainment personalities, as well as organizing exclusive private events for the industry.
Past and current client list include key players in the entertainment, interactive digital media and sports industries such as 20th Century Fox Film East, Electronic Arts, Games Convention Asia, Golden Village Multiplex, Motion Picture Association, Mediacorp Raintree Pictures, Singapore Rugby Union, SingTel (for mio TV), and United International Pictures.
Currently the company is embarking on a new business strategy focused on content development for clients and is seeking media trained professionals who are seeking to gain experience in the media & entertainment industry.
