In 2001, Clear Channel Singapore was awarded the advertising concession by the Land Transport Authority to design, build, operate and maintain 3200 bus and taxi shelters islandwide for the next 20 years. The figure represents some 80% of all shelters in Singapore, making it the largest outdoor advertising contract ever awarded in the world at that time.
